Hello Dear Readers. We have made great strides in home improvement as of late! We completely demolished our main bathroom and rebuilt it into the most perfect thing ever. All thanks to a large amount of sweat equity given by my father, the great Tim Polston. And Grant, who helped as well; and Clive and Rooney would tell you they did but they lie a lot.
I will break up the process into three segments.
Before:
This is what we were living with; a fully functional bathroom, but one of the biggest eye-sores in the house without a doubt.
Process:
There were so many steps to reshape this room. When Grant and my dad tore out everything, we found a rotted area right under the tub that had to be replaced first thing. My dad ran duct work up from under the house because our bathroom had no vent. It also didn't have an electrical outlet.
Finished Product:
Through this experience we've learned that it's best to throw any preconceived notions as to how things are going to go out the window. Bathroom renovations are no joke. We are so grateful for all the hard work my dad put into this room; it's absolutely amazing and we love it!
